Working with wood and metal, we create handmade goods that you can use and enjoy or give to people for them to use and enjoy. Each piece is unique, and anything can be customized. Wood can be sourced from felled trees to mark a meaningful place or reclaimed from a home or piece of heirloom furniture. Our signature piece is a hearth tool that functions as both a bellow and a poker. The rod and hook are made of hand-forged steel and come in 3 lengths. The handles, which have been hand-turned on a lathe and then sanded, sealed, and stained, are avaliable in two distinct shapes — The Classic and The Caller. Choice of wood, including reclaimed walnut and cherry.

Iteratively planing and sanding the wood yields a smooth surface and allows unique features to surface. The board shown here was sourced from burled maple that was harvested on a family farm in Middle Tennessee.

Combinations for butcher block are endless, depending on wood type, cut size, and pattern. The block shown below was crafted from unfinished black walnut with a subtle stagger between 3” and 1.5” pieces. Set on feet to release moisture.
